I was in Europe a couple of weeks ago traveling with my husband and sister-in-law. Although I have lots of wonderful experiences I could share about that trip, that’s not what I’m most excited about. What I’m most excited to tell you about is a podcast I have been introduced to called “Wiser Than Me” by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. During the course of our fantastic trip exploring Scotland and England, and walking on average, 20,000 steps a day, my sister-in-law, Lisa, was telling me about an amazing podcast she had been listening to. The excitement in her voice as she was describing it made me want to seek it out. And when I got home, I did!
So what’s it about you ask? When you tune in, you will be rewarded with hour episodes of phenomenal interviews by Julia Louis-Dreyfus with remarkable women in their 70’s and beyond. Dreyfus’s premise for the podcast is to talk to women that she says are “wiser than me.” You’ll hear from women such as Sally Fields, Julie Andrews, Carol Burnette, Rhea Perlman, Gina McCarthy, Darlene Love, Diane Von Furstenberg and Gloria Steinem just to name a few. I literally could listen to them forever as they share their stories and pearls of wisdom with Julia, not wanting any of the interviews to end. “Wiser Than Me” is in its second season and you will want to catch all episodes, they’re that good!
