Hello Everyone,

During the pandemic, I found myself like so many of us with time on my hands. Time to watch more television, try new recipes, take a class online, and, well you get the picture. But for some reason, nothing seemed appealing. Even my favorite pastime activity of reading, curling up with a good book and a steaming cup of coffee just wasn’t doing it for me. I kept searching for something that would capture my interest. Finally, I discovered it. I downloaded “The Woman I was Before” by Kerry Fisher and found myself eagerly finishing chores so that I could get back to my book.

With so little social contact this past year I felt like I had met three new friends as soon as I began “The Woman I Was Before.”  I had a front  row seat to the lives of Gisela, Kate, and Sally as they desperately navigated their imperfect world, in hopes of achieving perfection. While Gisela and Sally turn to social media as their personal marketing tool to paint an idyllic life that is in no way close to reality, Kate runs from attention, fearful of her tragic past being exposed. Ultimately, these three women’s lives will converge like circles of a Venn Diagram and somewhere in the center, the answers to the paths they each seek will be revealed.

If you enjoy getting lost in a story, this is a real page turner and a satisfying read!

Find it at:  https://www.amazon.com

You can also find my books, “The Fireflies of Estill County” and “Bird” there as well.

Happy New Year Everybody and Happy Reading!
