If you’re in the market for a good book I recommend “Ghosted” by Rosie Walsh. I began a couple of days ago and found myself immersed in this beautifully crafted and intriguing story line. The term ‘ghosted” didn’t mean anything to me. However, I “Googled it, discovering it’s a new term for an old practice. In my hormone raging years, we simply would say, “he never called me back” leaving our young hearts tattered and raw. Times have changed, but broken hearts have not.
If you are a true romantic and love mystery, you’ll enjoy the delightful character of Sarah as she finds her soulmate Eddie, and engages in a sweet, passionate seven day affair. Sarah and Eddie fall madly for each other. However, Eddie simply vanishes. Gone like a ghost. Sarah receives no phone calls, no texts, no emails, no Facebook posts, no anything. Her heart is in shreds. A page turner with multiple twists and turns throughout, my nose stuck in the book for two days straight. Time well spent. I have a new author to watch for!
